Termination Lump Sums
Payments made to employees upon termination may be added to the payslip by selecting the Termination Lump Sums system item as follows:
- Go to the relevant employee's profile.
- Click on Add next to Payslip Inputs.
- Click on Termination Lump Sums.
Termination payments to the employee can be entered in the following fields:

Long service payment or severance payment
An employee will not simultaneously be entitled to both a long service payment and a severance payment.
- Other Termination Payment – Any other lump sum payment or gratuity paid upon retirement, or termination of any office or employment or any contract of employment.

When paying out accumulated leave on termination, you should use the built-in Termination Leave Pay item for this. Paying out leave on termination is discussed in the following article:
